Anticipation and Irony
Following the order of the post title; here is the anticipation. I am about to board my flight heading to San Diego for the National Outreach Convention. This will be the second time ever I have been to a conference outside the circles I grew up in. I am pumped! I wonder if all the departing flights from Scranton are pre-dawn?
The irony. While waiting to go through security I saw a young man who was in uniform being closely scrutinized. Maybe he had a last minute ticket or there was a mistake with the printing of his name. Things happen. But this guy should have breezed right through. When Becky dropped me off at the departure gate I counted two cars that were unattended sitting directly in front of the terminal one was a giant pick-up truck with a huge portable fuel pump in the back! It was just sitting there. Wow!

Have a safe trip and enjoy the Conference! I will be praying for you this week! I will miss you lots. I will be excited to hear you share with me the content of what you learn at this conference. Love you and will miss you. Love, Me
