Andy and his wife Becky have been involved in ministry since 1997. Andy has served at Baptist Bible College for eight years and in Virginia as a youth pastor for two. The Giessmans have had the opportunity to travel and speak in numerous camps, churches, retreats, and Christian schools from New Jersey to California. Andy has a knack for the use of humor and stories that connect well with his listeners. Andy is also the Lead Pastor of New Life Baptist Church in Scranton, PA. Along with being a student of the Bible, Andy is also a student of his culture to know how best to communicate the Truth to a world that is searching for it. With the rest of the pastoral team, Andy helps plan outreach community events, cast vision, and strategize to claim Scranton for Christ! Andy earned a B.S. in Bible from BBC in 2000 and graduated with a Master of Ministry degree from Baptist Bible Seminary in May 2007. In his spare time, Andy will tell you he enjoys studying history and is in an endless search for the perfect big sandwich (hoagie, sub, grinder, etc.) and the ultimate buffalo wing.
